The service

Search.ITISYOU is an independent search index over a selective, self-crawled set of websites, provided for personal, non-commercial use. Search results link out to third-party pages we do not control and are not responsible for.

Acceptable use

Please don't:

• Send automated or bulk queries beyond what a person would type by hand.
• Try to bypass rate limits, security controls, or other technical protections.
• Use the service to break the law or infringe anyone else's rights.
• Attempt to disrupt the crawler, the index, or the underlying infrastructure.
• Submit a site for indexing that you don't have the right to submit.

We may limit or block access that puts the service or other users at risk.

No warranty

The service is provided "as is" and "as available." We don't promise that the index is complete, that results are accurate or current, or that the service will be uninterrupted. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim other warranties, express or implied.

Crawler opt-out

Site owners can keep the crawler out with standard robots.txt directives, which we honor. To ask for a specific URL or an entire host to be removed or blocked, use the removal form; both the crawl and the search-serving side respect a verified block. Our published crawler identity and contact details are on the crawler page.
